hello, I just joined this list. I am researching a relative who died in April 1987. According to the SSDI, Edmond VIRONET was born in 1911, and died in Jasper AR, in 4/1987. I suspect that Edmond was a relative of mine, since the VIRONET surname is very rare in America, and all VIRONETs in America are descendants of a family from Jumet Belgium. My great grandfather was John VIRONET, who became "John VERONA" in America, since he only spoke French, and his name was mistranslated to John VERONA, i.e., VIRONET is pronounced like "VERONAY". I would like to know if anyone on this list knew Edmond or his wife Wilma VIRONET (died 12/1995), and if there are any living VIRONETs in Newton AR. Thanks, Matt Verona/Vironet Sugar Land, TEXAS
