She was born Abt. 1806 in Missouri, and died Bet. 1860 - 1870 in Douglas Co. or Texas Co., Mo. He was listed on the 1860, Douglas County, Missouri, census as a gunsmith. Children of HENRY CARTER and NANCY PRICHARD are: i. SARAH J. CARTER, b. Abt. 1829, Tennessee; d. Bef. 1860, Missouri; m. ARCHELAUS M. GOSNELL, Bet. 1848 - 1849, Camden, Missouri.
