Surnames: HARP Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/xV.2ADE/528 Message Board Post: I am looking for anyone who may have more information on Elijah Bohannon HARP Sr., Elijah HARP Jr., or Elgin HARP of Newton County. I have a copy of a picture taken around 1912 at the blacksmith shop at Wilcockson. Standing with a fox in arm is Joe HARP, with his son Benjamin Franklin HARP. The blacksmith shop is about where the first aid station is now at Dogpatch, AK. I know that the harps I am related to come from a line of HARPS in AK, particularly the Newton Co., area, I just don't know what their relationship if any is to Joe or Ben Harp. Any help would be appreciated.
