However, there is a page in his Pension Record which states he was born in state of Alabamy). Son of Thomas Tennison and Mary Ann Bristow, daughter of Samuel Bristow. m: Sarah Caroline Liles 9 March 1848 (she was born 9 Sept 1832 in Tenn.) He died 8 June 1864 on his way home for a visit or while absent without leave. His wife heard of his death and family found his body and brought him for burial in Smith Cemetery, Newton Co.AR. Children: (1)Nancy J Tennison, born 26 Aug 1850 m: Madison C Cheatham 12 April 1868 Newton Co.AR. she died 1913 and is buried in Red Rock Cemetery, Newton Co.AR. (2)Mary M.
