We are a central clearing house for 12 counties in Southwest Arkansas. We will sponsor the 16th Annual Christmas and Candlelight in Old Washington December 7, 2002 from 4-8 p.m. at Old Washington Historic State Park eight miles east of Hope off Interstate 30. Historic homes and other buildings will be decorated for the holidays in 19th Century style. Interpreters, hosts and hostesses will be dressed in 19th century style. Choirs and musicians from southwest Arkansas will perform Christmas music in the historic churches. Williams Tavern Restaurant will serve a buffet. All museums will be open. The WPA Gym will be open for refreshments, entertainment and gift shop. Surrey rides will be offered by the park. This event is also sponsored by Pioneer Washington Restoration Foundation.
