I show him marrying Melinda J JONES(JOPLIN?) but don't show a marriage date for this couple. This was David A Smith's second marriage. Malinda J Smith is on the 1900 Newton Co.AR. census in Jackson Twp. with children: Charles, Other O, Walter, Gracie, Walcie and Vickie Smith.
