I was born in Jasper in 1941. My maiden name was Luallen, but many of my aunts and uncles were named Allen. My grandmother was sure if her husband's name was John Lu Allen, or John Luallen, so she named several of the children Allen, and several Luallen. My grandfather John was married previously, and I think most of his kids from the first marriage went by Allen. Are you related? Regards, Shirley Gray
