(through Sarah Carolyn Nichols (one of his daughters). I have a lot of information about James and Sarah and Florence Norris. David Crockett Nichols and Sarah Carolyn NIchols (Curtis) were very close siblings. I have a letter that Sarah wrote to David, among other things. I know that Florence died in 1895 under mysterious circumstances. I would like to know what happened to her children. One of them was, I think, put up for adoption. Anyway, you just said you were interested in the Indian question. Here is what I have: David Crockett Nichols Married Florence Norris in 1877. Florence was born January 29, 1860 in Fentress County, Tn and died March 29, 1895 in Newton County, AR. (And was buried in the Curtis Cemetery) Children: James Crockett Nichols, John Matthew Nichols, (m. Manda Dunham July 25, 1897. They had two children Alpha and Alvin. John divorced Amanda. Alvin and his wife, child and mother-in-law were killed in a tornado in 1922. Amanda remarried to James Newton Martin and had six more children.), Joseph Columbus Nichols, m. Suphronia m. Margaret Edna Carr, Floyd Gray Nichols, m. Virginia Ellen McKinney, Aug. 5, 1905, Shawnee, Pottowatamie Nation, Indian Territory, Willie Ocolla Nichols, Rosemary Adeline Nichols, m. Ott Gilbert, m. Jacob L. Walters (Rosemary Adeline was named for her grandmother, Delilah Adeline McPherson (Nichols) David Crockett Nichols died March 14, 1927 in Lewston, Idaho. Sarah Carolyn Nichols died September 9, 1927, just six months after her brother, David. Could you tell me the history of Rosemary? Laura
