I believe that Bertanney's real name was Mary Barthenia Houston Phillips. I am a descendant of this family through their daughter Sarah J. Phillips who married Levi Breedlove on 14 Sep 1890. Sarah's birthdate was 2 Sep 1875 and death date was 6 Sep 1936. She is buried in Annie's Chapel, Hagerville, AR
