He was married to a Sarah "Sally" Unknown (b. abt. 1792) either in KY or IL. Benjamin apparantly died before 1830 because Sarah is listed as the head of household in Sangamon Co IL in 1830. I know of one son they had - Shadrick Turner Marshall (b. abt. 1816 in KY). In 1832 Sarah remarried to a Absalom Mounts in Sangamon County IL. In 1837 & 1839, Absalom is listed in the tax records for Madison County AR. In 1840, they are on the census records for Madison Co AR. In 1850, they are listed on the Franklin Co AR census. Shadrick is listed in his own household with wife Margaret Dunn. They live next door to theMounts. In 1860 & 1870 they are in Newton Co AR. Any help on this family would be appreciated. I would like to prove that Benjamin Marshall is indeed the father of Shadrick - as the LDS says. I would like to also find out Sarah's maiden name and more about both of their families.
