    3. Hi All, I am hoping someone will resd this and be able to connect to one of the names on this list. If not to the Young name, at least to one of the married names of the girls. Last summer my husband and I traveled to Limestone, Ark. and I find it hard to believe that no one can connect with this family after seeing the size of it. John Kilman Young was b. Nov. 4, 1837 in Bellefonte, Jackson Co., Ala., his parents were Thomas Young s/o Matthew Young and Darcas and Pricie Rash d/o Sarah Rash. He entered service in the 14th Ark. Infantry Regiment July 1861. He was captured and held prisoner on Johns Island, Ohio until he was paroled June 1865. He was a 2nd Lt. in Co. E. He was a farmer, J.P. 1878-1880, and Coroner 1882-1892. He married Susan Casey d/o Moses and Elizabeth Casey, Sept. 21, 1856 at Walnut, Ark. John died Jan 29, 1929 in Johnson Co., Ark. at that time he lived with one of his children. I was told that his funeral services were performed by my ggrandfather Francis Marion Thronebury, who was also living in Johnson Co. and that he was buried in Zadock Cemetery. No one seems to have heard of Zadock Cemetery, but according to an uncle that was present at the funeral, Zadock Cemetery is an old cemetery that is probably all grown up and you can't get to it. I was also told that John Kilman Young was always the guest of Honor at a picnic that was held in Clarksville every year because he was the oldest surviving Confederate soldier and that when he died, there was a big write up on him in the Clarksville newspaper with pictures. Susan Casey w/o John Kilman Young was born abt 1836 in Tenn. and according to Joh's Bible, she died Nov. 21, 1910 in Newton or Johnson Co., Ark. Children of John and Susan are: 1. Herminnia Young m. James White and had 5 children that I know of. In 1911 according to the Confederate Census of 1911 they were living in Limestone Ark. 2. George W. Young b. Jan 3, 1858 m. Margaret Dodson d/o Eli E. Dodson and Rhoda C. Cantrell. According to 1911 Census, they were living in Atkins, Ark. 3. William T. Young b. Jan 23, 1860 d. Aug 26, 1938 Lamar, Johnson Co., Ark. m. Sarah Virginia Dodson d/o Eli E. Dodson and Rhoda C. Cantrell, Nov 3, 1873. According to 1911 Census they lived in Limestone, Ark. These are my great grandparents. They had 10 children. 4. John P.
