I have gotten several emails (Howard Co. so far you are safe but including you as well) Apparently Snow White virus is going again..if you feel you are infected with it contact me personally and I will help you clean your computer. The biggest problem right now is BadTrans virus. If you receive an attachment from somone on the lists I maintain DO NOT open it. In the message area you will read "Read (or see) attachment)" You may forward this to me so I can contact the person or at least send me their email privately so I can contact them so they can get clean. But more importantly I can unsub them until they are clean. This is the only way we are going to get this under control. Below AGAIN (please save or print the directions) the directions to help clean your computer of this virus. >> I suggest you empty your trash bin, if your ISP gives you the "double delete" on your email to completely rid your email (which AOL does...once you click delete..go to Mail scroll down to Recently Deleted Mail and delete it again or what ever your ISP requires you to do to get the email totally out) http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/pf/w32.badtrans.13312@mm.html Symantec AntiVirus Research Center (SARC) W32.Badtrans.13312@mm Discovered on: April 11, 2001 Last Updated on: April 16, 2001 at 09:32:39 AM PDT W32.Badtrans.13312@mm is a MAPI worm that replies to all unread mails in your email message folders, and drops a backdoor Trojan.
