Charlene, Mary Armstrong was the daughter of Frank Marion"Marcus"Armstrong and Julia Elizabeth Holt Seabolt Armstrong (daughter of Elizabeth Campbell Holt Lawson Carlton and Asa Nathan Holt). Julia had married William R Seabolt Jr. first and they were divorced. Mary married J. M . Edwards on 13Nov1889 in Newton Co.AR. She had several Edwards children. I do not think she is any relation to the Edwards and Cheatham line. She then married Absalom Phillips on 14Oct1916 in Newton Co.AR. Evelyn RKinfolks@aol.com
