He died from his wounds south of Huntsville, Ar. at War Eagle School, a makeshift hospital during the Civil War. Mary Smith Snow, John's wife, took her youngest child with her and went to Huntsville and was gone about 2 weeks. Riley Snow said he was related to the Snow's in Newton Co, Ar. The Snow Cem is not very far from Limestone Valley, Newton Co., Ar, but we have no proof. Have you heard this??  Jimmy Smith
