I see some activity on PLUMLEEs and my husband's tree has an Alsie PLUMLEE who married John C. B. MOSS. He was b. 1886 and d. 1927, both in Jasper, Newton Co, AR. He was the son of Lewis Stover MOSS and Savannah Alcy WILSON. Does anyone know who are the parents of Alsie PLUMLEE? Any suggestions or help would be wonderful. Thank you. Laura Gilmore Nampa, ID

I would love to have a reunion with them or at least communicate. There were Glen, Pleze(mispelled i'm sure)Naomi, Verna and Jimmy. We did almost everything together. Verna was my very best friend. I have missed her so much through the years. The last I heard was in the 60's and she lived in Springfield Mo. If anyone has any information please let me know. They lived in the woods behind the Compton Post Office. The old one run by Lex Burge.

I did, but do not remember how. One of those deals. Yes, I loved Newton County. There is also a book These Hills My Home, by B. touchstone Hardaway, that lists the people that are buried in Beechwood Cemetery. The book also has alot of pictures in it of Villines, etc. We did not get a picture of the Buffalo river. Sure wished I had. We will probably go back sometimes in the next year. What line are you from? My line is from Abraham Villines. Have you ever talked to Beverly Wilkerson ? She has compiled a book regarding the Villines and Curnutts. this is to long for message board, so please e-mail me at otr@glade. Peggy
