Dear list mates, Here's my brick wall. These folks emigrated to the U. S. from Quorndon in Leicestershire in 1803. John and Mary and their 8 or so children. The last one, Richard was born in New York. They were all dissenting baptists and I feel that they came to the U. S. for religious freedom. John was in the stocking trade in Quorn, but bought land in upstate New York, and held local office. The first generation listed is mostly speculation, although I have some good evidence.
