My Grt grt granpa, Robert Sylvanus Armstrong BARNETT b 1826 in York Co SC fa was William and mother was Rhoda Campbell . Son of RSA Barnett was William Anderson BARNETT b abt 1852 York Co SC, his son, John Robert BARNETT b 7 Oct 1875 in Grayson Co (Farmington), Tx mar to Mary S Lane 11 Oct 1874 there , John Robert BARNETT was my Granfather. He mar Effie Cora Brannan Feb 1900. Effie Cora was a Twin b 22 May 1883 in Bend , Wasco Co. Or but her twin bro. died jst after birth. John and Effie had twins b 28 sep 21 1900 in Colfax , Whitman Co Wa. both lived. William Floyd and Emanuel Lloyd and bot went by middle names. Lloyd mar and had a pair of twins who both died in 1920's in ore. this is 3 sets in a row. Now somewhere there is a Armstrong in my Barnett line before 1826 but wasn't Robert's mo. but may have been his Granmother on his father or mothers side. I have not found where the name Armstrong came from as yet but must have been in later 1700's in N C or York Co SC. I was looking for a certain surname a few yrs back. below is what I found in a Gen of another family in 1820's. First born a single1821 2nd twins and 1 died. 3rd a single. 4th twins 1 died 1824 5th a single 6th triplets, all died. 7th, single 8th twins and both lived.1830 13 babies in 9 yrs.( 5 died) there were more after that all singles up to 1834.
