    2. John, I've also gotten this letter twice: tonight, and about two or three weeks ago. I haven't answered it, and don't think I will. As long as I'm writing you, and as long as this is such a super list, I guess I'll tell you all that my sister, Janet, my only sibling, died last Thursday, about an hour or so before I got there (she lived in Maine). My niece had called me the day before, and I tried my very best to get there before she died, but I didn't make it in time. She never regained conscienceness after the stroke, so I guess it didn't matter to her, but I really wanted to see her agaIn before she died. She'd been sick for a long time, and it really is a release for her, and knowing that helps, but it still hurts like the dickens... I didn't even have time to write and ask this great group of A*s to pray for her... Barb in MO
