    3. Hi Ben, You may not be aware, but I am the adopted Armstrong cousin. My own maiden name is PLACE and I married a McARTHUR, whom I would think the Armstrongs may have been sparring with at some stage in History. I have been about for four or Five years now, with a little time off this year until just recently. I missed the nice folk on this list. There is an even amount of Genealogy and chatter, that you do not find on a lot of lists. I have the Armstrong Family History at heart and always keep my eyes open for anything which I think may be of help to anyone with the name ARMSTRONG. I haven't checked lately but we did have a purely Gen list for the Armstrongs which works fine for those who like pure Genealogy and I think most on this list are also on that list, so everyone is happy. It is a pity that it isn't the same for other lists, as it makes for one happy family and you get the best of both, the friendship from the chatter and the Genealogy. I am really happy to be back. It was nice to hear from our resident Geordie, Armstrong lister, Joe and Rita about their Christmas in Belguim. Joe has a real gift when putting pen to paper. Something we all have enjoyed from time to time. We saw on the telly How the New Year was celebrated in London and New York and of course Sydney, so I am waiting for the next installment of how folk from Belguim celebrated New Year and what happened when the clock struck midnight. Best wishes to all.
