Some welcome, Edie... I though I'd never make it. Have you ever ridden a kangaroo? Well, have you?!? It's not pretty. But enough unpleasantries. Those plums are absolutely delish! So are the apples and nectarines! But you might have warned me about not eating too many... I might be making some unscheduled trips to the loo... I'm sure you are gracious enough to ignore them. I tried to prune some of those fruit trees for you, but I think my eyes were still bobbling from the K-ride, so if you'd just be good enough to overlook the slashes and breaks... I'd appreciate it. I saw Rob wandering out in the fields with some other band members... they were playing an original medley: 'Here, We Go Looby Loo/Louie, Louie/Chattanooga ChooChoo.' It didn't sound as Scotch as I'd have expected, but actually not a bad sound. The sheep were blaating right along in time. Amazing. Well, I've retired to the barn. Those bales of hay smell sooo good! I almost feel like home! Penny jumped right up in my lap. I think Ruffles sneaked out and ate some plums, too. Hey, don't worry about it, Edie. I'll clean it up. No prob.... Oh fine. I'll be right back. Probably just as well with canceling the cricket game, what with all the plums, etc. It could take a really long time, if you know what I mean. The barn is starting to heat up with all the music and dancing. I love that Scottish Schottish! Let's boogie down!!! Well, I've had a wonderful time! (Ooops, please excuse me a moment... I'll be right back.) As I was saying, I've got to get while the gettin's good. Thanks again! Jill
Well Jill, I have a basket of Toilet Tissue sitting on the cupboard in the Loo. Just as well eh! Good for cleaning out the system those plums. Maybe we can make some of that brew Fount makes and everyone can tale a bottle home with them. Yes Penny would jump on your lap, but her rival is Ruffles who rubs up against legs nearly knocking you over. She is a lovely dog, but very lazy. Nice pet. After a few tots of whisky, the band won't sound very scottish. One of our Tassy bands always includes a jamacian sounding tune. It is very popular. Have a great one. Party, that is.
