Patty, do you happen to know the dates that your Ruth HOYT lived? I have a dateless Ruth who marr a John HOYT. No dates for him, either, but they had a son who was born in 1540. He was Simon HOYT, who marr Susanna(h) SMITH. They had nine children, one of whom was Mary, who marr Thomas LYON, Sr., who was b in Perthshire, Scotland ca 1621 and died in Fairfield Co,. CT in 1690.
