    3. Hi, Does anyone have this family: Andrew Armstrong born abt 1763 married to Elizabeth (?) born about 1763. They migrated from Pennsylvania (?) to Fayette Co KY before 1792, then to Knox Co IN abt 1812 and then to Terre Haute, Vigo Co, IN where they are died and are buried. Some of their children are: Anna Armstrong (bn abt 1785) who married John Gordon in Fayette Co KY - lived in Ohio and Vigo Co IN; William Armstrong (bn abt 1786) who married Mary Polly Cavins in Fayette Co KY - lived in Vigo Co & Knox Co IN; Dorcas Armstrong who married 1) Elizar B. Carter in Knox Co IN, 2) Samuel McHenry in Knox Co IN - lived in Vigo Co IN; Julia Armstrong who married Algernon Badollet in Knox Co IN - lived in Illinois; Eliza Armstrong (bn abt 1800) who married John McClure in Knox Co IN - lived in Knox Co IN Other possible children are: Andrew Hogue Armstrong (bn 1790) who married Jane Cavins prob in Fayette Co KY Elizabeth Armstrong (bn aft 1800) who married John F. Cruft in Knox Co IN - lived in Vigo Co IN There are also two other children because they had nine children total and all were still living at the time of Elizabeth's death in 1835 (no names in obituary). Andrew Armstrong died in 1847. I don't have any further information about Andrew's family such as siblings or parents. I've tried all manner of sources but have not been able to positively identify his origins. It is possible he is a son of Robert Armstrong and Ann Thompson because there are various databases out there showing a son Andrew for this couple, however not all databases show a son Andrew. Andrew Armstrong is listed on the same tax list in Fayette Co KY where a William Armstrong is listed in 1792. This William was born in 1759 in Paxtang (or Paxton) Township, Lancaster Co, Pennsylvania and married Sarah Huston in 1779 in Cumberland Co PA where they lived until abt 1783, going then to Westmoreland Co PA and then on to Lexington abt 1784. William is a son of Robert and Ann (Thompson) Armstrong. Can anyone shed some light? Thanks for anything - Junel Davidsen
