Cherie... Why do you suppose the pioneers called it Pie Plant...??? I don't know if he brought the knowledge with him from Norway, or perhaps picked up on it in his travels through Europe after completeing an apprenticeship in a steam factory, Or perhaps his Swedish wife told him... but my Gr Grandfather Hans Anderson was quite well known in the Sandhills of Nebraska for the wine he made from Rhubarb...!!!
