    3. Hi Everyone, I am hoping someone out there can help me. I am looking for information on Mary Armstrong. She was born Dec 17, 1827 in Scotland. Mary, her parents and her brothers; Thomas, Charles, Frank and William traveled from Scotland to Lockport New York. Along the way both parents were stricken with fever and died. William returned to Scotland while Mary, Thomas, Charles and Frank went on to Canada. In about 1856 Mary married Christoper Bell in Lambton County, Ontario. I don't know what became of the brothers. Does anyone know of this family? Lori

    3. Lori, is there a Rootsweb list for Ontario? Just wondering... Can you find more information about Christopher Bell? Were there any children? It's too bad the brothers had such common Armstrong names...that makes it more difficult. I have those same names in my ggrandfather's family, too. Good luck...sounds like a tough puzzle. The boys could have been adopted. You didn't say how old they were when they came. I think you need to find out what kind of records are available to the public and work back from Mary to try to find the boys.
