    3. Well, that explains the great difference between the Aussies and the Yanks and the Brits. Since it originated as a song about smallpox (or something equally horrible) I'm happy we don't hear it any more. I discovered a group of my church members had been celebrating decorating the Maypole, They had rather red faces when I explained it to them.
