Dear Patti, My mistake was thinking that people on this computerized list knew about something called the radio. Remember, The Lone Ranger, and Gang Busters, and Mr. Keene - Tracer of Lost Persons, The Green Hornet, and The Shadow. Ahhhhh life was simple in those days, until one of the tubes burned out. And remember Sat. a.m.'s Sparky (at least he was the main character) and "Yours truly: Johnny Dollar." Bob I remember all those programs, we use to sit right in front of the radio, like if we sat anywhere else we would not be able to hear the stories. I remember listening to "The Birds" in the late 40's, which many many years later was made into a movie. There was a program that had a squeaking door, I think that was Inter Sanctum or something like that. I also remember Gabriel Heater on the radio.
