    3. Yes Dianne, it is a small world indeed. Cousin Marilyn we did explore the EJ Armstrong/Tyrone connection. I believe we concluded that we may have a link somewhere but we did not discover where it is. My EJ was born in 1845 in County Tyrone, Dungannon, N. Ireland. Daughter of Galbraith Robert (Robin) Armstrong and Jane Armstrong (her maiden name may have been ARMSTRONG too), Eliza Jane and her 2 sisters migrated to New Zealand (my grandmother was born in Auckland). Descendants of their brother Galbraith still live near the family homestead and I have had contact with them Linda Hamid Sweetwater Poultry email: sweeth2o1@gmail.com web: www.sweeth2o.us I can't get that far back on my son in laws line, they came from El Reno, Oklahoma <laughing> I know that's not too back. We live in Smartville, well, not the actually town, but on a mountain top behind Beale Air Force Base. But our post office is Smartville. My grand kids go to Lone tree school on the air force base. It's nice out there. Yes, we know where Roseville is, in fact my nephew is a barber down there. I forget what the name of his shop is, but it's by Riverside somewhere, his name is Hunter Heryford, lives on Diamond Oaks street. Small world. Dianne Heryford Hey, Linda, did we ever explore the Eliza Jane Armstrong of Co. Tyrone possible connection? Just wondering. Cousin Marilyn

    3. OK, thanks, Linda...I remember that now. I was looking for an Eliza Jane A. for awhile, but now it turns out that her name was probably Elizabeth...and the location isn't right, although there's probably a possibility of some connection between the two Armstrong families. I read that Eliza Jane was a pretty common name around the mid 1800s, so I guess we didn't make a connection on that one. Also, mine ended up in the USA, so that shoots that, I guess. How are all your chickens...the fancy ones, that is.
