Hi listers, I hope someone can link up with this part of my tree, so far I have only partial info on five generations. James Armstrong b.c. 1811 appears to have arrived in Bolton post 1843 and he appears on the 1851 Bolton Census, he appears to have married Bridget x in Ireland. Unfortunately I have no specific information as to whereabouts in Ireland they originated. James Armstrong b. c. 1811 Ireland, died Bolton 1871-1881,married Bridget X b.c 1812 Ireland, died 1882 Bolton. Children included amongst several - Patrick b.c 1838 Ireland and John, b.c 1836 Ireland. John, b.c 1836 Ireland, married Ann ( possibly nee Feeney, b.c 1837-42) in 1857 Bolton. John died 1899 Bolton, Ann died post 1901. Their children included James Armstrong b.c.1858 Bolton, Thomas b.c.1864 Bolton and John b.c 1860 Bolton. John b.c 1860 Bolton married Catherine ( nee Hanley born Widnes, Cheshire) in 1880 Bolton. Their children included John b. 1883 Bolton, Thomas b. 1887 Bolton, Sarah Ann b. 1890 Bolton, Mary Ellen b. 1884 Bolton. John b. 1883 Bolton married Margaret ( Ward) in 1903 , their children incl john b.1904 Bolton, James b. 1906 Bolton, Catherine & Thomas twins b. 1912 Bolton. Sarah Ann b. 1890 Bolton married John William Dacey in 1912 Bolton, and had children Kathleen 1917, sarah Ann 1914 and Joseph Dacey. Mary Ellen b. 1884 Bolton married James Hatzer in 1907 Bolton and had several children.
