Hello, This is my first time posting on the Armstrong list. When I was first researching Armstongs I had taken a great deal of information from LDS. Now I see many contridictions to what I have accumulated. So, here I am hoping someone will know what's what. My William is: William Armstong 1737-1780 m Margaret Wood august 23, 1768. Their daughter, Elizabeth, married Giles Gantt. What I would like to verify is the parentage of William and his ancestors. Also, if there is a connection to Gen.
