Dear Armstrong kin, If you liked reading McCullough's "John Adams" you will delight in the DVD that is now on sale. We watched it on the PBS station when it aired earlier this year, and it is delightful. The characterizations are as we have imagined them in history lessons - George Washington, and Benjamin Franklin, and cranky John Adams; how our country came to be. I was in my doctor's office yesterday and delighted in the fake red, white and blue flowers, the banners and a tape playing "My County Tis of Thee" Patriotism is not dead. Happy 4th everyone.
