    2. Rob and Edie McArthur
    3. Hi Ben, You may not be aware, but I am the adopted Armstrong cousin. My own maiden name is PLACE and I married a McARTHUR, whom I would think the Armstrongs may have been sparring with at some stage in History. I have been about for four or Five years now, with a little time off this year until just recently. I missed the nice folk on this list. There is an even amount of Genealogy and chatter, that you do not find on a lot of lists. I have the Armstrong Family History at heart and always keep my eyes open for anything which I think may be of help to anyone with the name ARMSTRONG. I haven't checked lately but we did have a purely Gen list for the Armstrongs which works fine for those who like pure Genealogy and I think most on this list are also on that list, so everyone is happy. It is a pity that it isn't the same for other lists, as it makes for one happy family and you get the best of both, the friendship from the chatter and the Genealogy. I am really happy to be back. It was nice to hear from our resident Geordie, Armstrong lister, Joe and Rita about their Christmas in Belguim. Joe has a real gift when putting pen to paper. Something we all have enjoyed from time to time. We saw on the telly How the New Year was celebrated in London and New York and of course Sydney, so I am waiting for the next installment of how folk from Belguim celebrated New Year and what happened when the clock struck midnight. Best wishes to all. 2. I have an Armstrong cousin in Bakersfield, CA , Barb I think. Isnt this awful. It has been so long. Joe's sister. I need some help sweetie. Our grandson is a roughneck there at one of the refinery's. When they get older they don't always keep up with what's going on with family. Anyway his Christmas card came back this time. Is there a way to get a message to him that Bill had the stroke. And that we and his Aunt's and Uncle's have been trying to find him? I still dont think Bill realizes this could have been the real thing instead of just a wake up call. Bill has been telling Mammoth, "This is the last year" for about four years now. Now it is out of his hands, and I dont think he wanted to go down this way. You know what I mean. Anyway the grandson is Kendel James Rafferty. "ET PHONE HOME" You know what I mean. Barb get in tough and I will give you the phone numbers. Thanks Nan Curtis

    3. Grace, The heavy rain made it here before midnight and everyone had to try and get home without getting soaked and some walked to the party so they wouldn't have to drive after the party. Bet they got a soaking before they got home! We played old songs from seven to twelve and it had been a month since I played and my fingers had gotten a little tender and I was very glad when midnight came. Yes, the cyber party is for the 14th of Feb. Now, would some of the sweet Armstrong ladies step in and try and put some sort of order to everything so we can all describe our favorite party "snacks, drinks, meats, fish, crawfish, drinks, music, drinks, dress (seems like some of the ladies wore some wild attire last time), and don't forget drinks. 2. Since I am now working my time on the computer is limited to about an hour at night. Hence I am in the background. It does allow me to check the messages from my cousins Armstrong. Have a happy 2003, and bless it with health, love, and happiness. Bill will know more tomorrow when we see the Doctor. I think he realizes how luck he was THIS TIME. For me I think health is the most important this year. Love from Bill, Nan, and Dan Curtis Bishop, CA
