GOOD LUCK TO ALL!! Subject: I want this back! This may sound nuts, but Dennis got this the other day and sent it off. About 10 minutes later a really good financial windfall happened for his son Sean who he had sent it too as well. One of the people he sent it to was responsible for the windfall. AN IRISH FRIENDSHIP WISH You had better send this back!!!! Good Luck!! I hope it works... May there always be work for your hands to do; May your purse always hold a coin or two; May the sun always shine on your windowpane; May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain; May the hand of a friend always be near you; May God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you. OK, this is what you have to do.... Send this to all of your friends! But - you HAVE to send this within 1 hour from when you open it! Now.................Make A wish!!!!!! I hope you made your wish! Now then, if you send to: 1 person --- your wish will be granted in 1 year 3 people --- 6 months 5 people --- 3 months 6 people --- 1 month 7 people --- 2 weeks 8 people --- 1 week 9 people --- 5 days 10 people --- 3 days 12 people --- 2 days 15 people --- 1 day 20 people --- 3 hours If you delete this after you read it... you will have 1 year of bad luck! But... if you send it 2 of your friends . you will automatically have 3 years of good luck!!! :-) ________________________________________________________________________ This email has been scanned for all viruses by the MessageLabs SkyScan service. ________________________________________________________________________
A COUPLE OF BEERS! A philosophy professor stood before his class with some items in front of him. When the class began, he wordlessly picked up a "VERY LARGE" and empty mayonnaise jar. He proceeded to fill it with rocks, which were about 2" in diameter. He filled the jar to the top! He then asked the students if the jar was full. They said, "Yes." The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. They rolled into place, all around the rocks. He shook the jar lightly. This allowed him to pour more pebbles in, until they were up to the top of the jar. He again asked the students if the jar was full. They said, "Yes." The professor then picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled the spaces between the pebbles. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students wondered what the right answer was this time, wondering what else could be poured into the jar. The professor then produced two cans of beer from under the table and proceeded to pour their entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty spaces in the sand. The students mumbled. "Now," said the professor, as the laughter subsided, "I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The rocks are the important things -- your family, your partner, your health, and your children. Things, that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full. The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house, and your car. The sand is everything else. The small stuff." "IF YOU PUT the SAND into the JAR FIRST," he continued, "there is no room for the pebbles or the rocks! The same goes for your life. If you spend all of your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you. Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your partner out dancing. There will always be time to go to work, clean the house, give a dinner party and fix the disposal. Take care of the rocks first . . . the things that really matter . . . then the pebbles. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand (the little stuff)!" One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the beer represented. The professor smiled and said, "I'm glad you asked. It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of beers." Author Unknown

Pat, Your folks evidently hold the record (to date)... My great grandparents met in Chicago in Nov 1855 and were married 6 weeks later in December 1855 the marriage lasted 11 kids and 54 1/2 years... I'm sure there were ups and downs... after all Gr Grandad was an Armstrong and Gr Grandma Kate was a Miller - both with roots on the Scottish borders.. I think folks back then knuckled down and worked a lot harder at making a go of it than young people do today.. Myself I've had the same Wife for the last 39 yrs... She was a Navy Nurse when I met and married her, and has done an admirable job keeping both my ego and broken body patched up..and in one piece... Sincerely, John D snowless in Alaska PTatom@aol.com wrote: > My parents will celebrate their 56 th year together the 8th of March. >They met while they were stationed at El Paso Texas. My parents will celebrate their 56 th year together the 8th of March. They met while they were stationed at El Paso Texas. Mother was a Wac and Dad was In the Army also. We tease them about their lengthy courtship. 7 days I was born the following December 16th. They had their ups and downs but are very devoted to one another. Pat Tatom
