My Ggrandfather was the 5th child of Mathais Langley and Susan Emmaline Holland. Carter was the father of Josiah who married Magaret. Josiah was the father of Mathais, born May 29, 1833. died June 19, 1854 in Marretta, Ga. where he is burried in a mass grave. Susan born May 10, 1836, died 1914. They had 12 children between the two of them. the first 8 of the children were fathered by Mathais. The others were born after Mathais was killed but took the Langley name.
