Sue, My name is Glenda Romine. I live in Jonesboro. Some of my Streeter relatives were born in Blytheville. I think they were farmers. Some of them moved to Joiner or Bassett. If I had some of the history of Blytheville it mght help in knowing what happened to them in that area. I have also been asked by some of the black Streeters if the white Streeters in that area ever held slaves. That is a good question. Might also find out about that from some history. Any help appreciated. Glenda, my name is David Starling I went to school with Streeters in Joiner. I know that there are still Streeters in Joiner and Bassett area. I live in California now and can't do any leg work for you. My cousin still lives in the area and is very active in genealogy. I believe she is on this list. Her name is Joyce Bennett Reynolds. She is very nice, and I'm sure she would help you out. Kindly, David Starling **************************************************************************** ******************* ----- Original Message ----- From: "Glenda Romine" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, August 25, 2001 9:36 AM Subject: Re: [ARMISSIS] DELL > Sue, > My name is Glenda Romine.
