Could you cross-check your files and see if your "Dudley Lynch" could be father/uncle/g-father/great-uncle of my DAVID DUDLEY LYNCH (b. Abt. 1839, Norfolk, VA - d. Abt 1861). David Dudley Lynch married NANCY WILKINS (b. Abt. 1823, Norfolk, VA). David and Nancy were married 1844 in Norfolk. Haven't got a clue about David's parents but I am wondering whether David's middle name means he could be realted to your line. I have no information concerning siblings of David.
