The records at the Historical Museum are from around the 1885 period until about 1920. There are several records still at the court house in Osceola during this period also. There are a lot of tax records at the museum. The court house was going to throw the books in the Mississippi River and Dr. Eldon Fairley saved them. He is very active in the society. I thought they were only open on Wednesday afternoon but saw somewhere that they were open on Sunday afternoons also. However, I would check the opening days before you go.
