Co., AR, shows Catherine Brown, 49, b.NC; Mary A. Brown, 24, b.GA; George C. Brown, 12, b.GA. Catherine's maiden name was Sullivan - she was the second wife of John Martin. After John's death she married David Brown (d.1858, Craighead Co., AR) and had a son, George C. Brown (above), Mary (above) was the daughter of John Martin, although the census shows her name as Brown. John Martin and his first wife, Isabel McIntyre, b.Scotland, had a daughter, Sarah Ann Martin, b.1843, who married Robert Brown (son of David Brown), and are shown in the same 1870 Swayne Co. census. David Brown was my great great grandfather and Robert Brown and Sarah Ann Martin were my great grandparents. Looking for the descendants of Catherine Brown and her children, Mary and George.
