my great granfather was john paxton smiley. he was born around 1872 somewhere in arkansas and his father was to of been born in ireland. he married elizabeth ledbetter (from tennessee) prior to 1900. she died from a drowning accident in mississippi co rite after 1900 on the pond at the old richardson place and is buried in north sawba cemetery. . john remarried caroline "susie" (unknown but prior marriage was to a barnes) in 1909 in blytheville. he lived there and about 1942 he passed away and is buried in elmwood cemetery. i would like any information on any of these people that might be available. i am especially trying to find johns parents thanks.... windi
