And I guess they moved everything to Osceola (I know they opened an office and funeral home in Osceola back about 10 years ago. Wilson Funeral Home 1323 W. Keiser Osceola, AR 72370 870-563-2877 I'm not sure how far back their records go. Some of the funeral homes keep good records, others do not. My ex's family is from down in that area and I have alot of research on that area (but with their names) Bardstown was one of the older towns and has all but died out. Can you please tell me about the posibilities of finding an obit for someone having died in Wilson Arkansas in 1931? I apologize for jumping in here but am at the end of my rope looking for my grand father's burial site. I ordered a death certificate for him and all it said was he was buried in Bassett Arkansas. No one there has any records of him as having been buried in the cemetery there. The death certificate indicated "self" in place of a funeral home so, I am assuming he was laid out at home. I know they did that back then. I am hoping perhaps the newspaper may have an obit.... Is the one you listed the one I need to contact or is that in the right area? Anything will be appreciated.
