    2. Laura, if he was buried in Bassett Cemetery, it is very possible that there is just not a record for him, even though he is buried there. My husband's mother was buried there and there is no record. We have searched high and low and visited with the older lady that had the records and then with the older gentleman that had the records, and nobody had a records for her. My husband was 14 years old and went to the funeral and knows the approximate location. Guess that is all we will ever know. Lee Wilson came from Tipton Co. TN to AR and many other people came from there also. My husband's grandmother and grandfather married in Tipton Co. He was living in MS Co. AR and Tipton Co. was just accross the river. My husband's grandfather spoke highly of Lee Wilson also. His father lived beside the levee and worked at the "Mill". Everyone was poor and times were hard for them all. At one time, Lee Wilson owned everyone home and business in the town of Wilson. However, over a period of about the last 20 years, he has sold most of the homes in town to private owners. Wilson, like many delta towns has now grown much in the last few years. Joyce McFarland
