    2. Do you know if Millard Ray ever lived around the Little River area in MS county? I believe I MAY remember a Millard Ray that lived close to us during WW2. I was young and could be wrong. I remember he had two daughters. However, if I need to, I can check with my brothers and see if they remember more about him. They are a few years older than I am. Joyce McFarland

    3. Thanks for your reply, Joyce. My Millard F Ray was born in 1862 in IL. He and his wife, Margie (CORDELL) RAY, moved from IL to MO to AR in the early 1900's. He was living in Leachville (not sure if that is near Little River) in 1920, but I am not sure about 1930 (don't have access to the 1930 Census - but would really appreciate if someone could find out for me.) They had at least 6 children, Emry, Simmie, Minnie, Mary, George and Jesse. I still need info about dates of death / marriages of children and so forth. I have a few photos of this family and would love to make contact. Margie is the sister of my great-grandmother, Missouri CORDELL. Thanks again for your interest.
