Ar Query Forum Reply Here: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/gc/USA/Ar/Mississippi/10752 Surname: VERNOR, WHITEHEAD, MORGAN ------------------------- I am related to Effie Vernor whose parents (unknown) were supposedly from Mississippi County, AR. Effie had a brother named Zonos or Zenas Vernor who was born in 1906 in AR. Effie was born in the early 1890's - not sure where. Effie married Albert Morgan and in 1916 had my grandmother, Bessie Morgan. Effie went to her mother's house in Manilla, AR to give birth. I can not find any mention of Vernors in Manilla or anywhere else in Mississippi county around 1916. In the 1950's a reunion was held in Manilla for the Vernor or possibly the Whitehead family. Somehow the Vernors and Whiteheads are related, although no one seems to know the exact connection. Can anyone help me? Or if anyone knows anything about this reunion that took place please let me know. Thanks.
