Isn't Wardell out from Joiner rather than Wilson? If your father went to Wardell school in 1919 did he know any Starlings who also went to that school about that time? Joyce in AR

Joyce, Yes, that certainly is a possibility. He lived w/his father in Joiner, but they also lived in Wilson at one time. Both my parents and grandparents are desceased. I'm going through some old papers/letters/pictures my mother had and came across the school picture w/my father as an adult in the early 1940s standing in front of the school. My mother made the notation that he had attended school there at age 10, which would make it 1919. Wish I could find some information abt the school. Just trying to put my father's history together.
