He was 84. Service will be at 2 P.M. Friday at Shackelford's Funeral Home in Selmer (TN). Burial will be in the McNairy County Memorial Gardens near here. He was a lifelong resident of McNairy County and a Methodist. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Ethel Williams, a son, Ed Williams of Oakland (?California); two step-sons, J.D. Tull of St. Joseph, Mich and Warren Tull of Bethel Springs; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Davidson and Mrs. Ruth Higginbottom of Leachville, Ark, and one step-daughter, Mrs. Myrtle New of Bethel Springs. Additionally, Mr.Williams was living in Poinsett County, AR in 1936 when he married Ethel Tull and they continued to live there until sometime in the 1950's. They were living in Stantonville, McNairy Co., TN 1957. ( I don't think he was from McNairy County) Mr. Williams has a marked grave at Memorial Gardens, Bethel Springs, TN. According to my grandmother's Bible: John H. Williams died April 2, 1964
