I can`t verify any information as to what happened to her first husband but yas she did live in the area. my father, who was walter s. mulkey , of osceola, went to school with her in that area. he told me her real name was francis smith. there are pictures of her in one of his year books. I`m not sure of the year, but her real name should help in that respect. you didn`t know any mulkeys did you, or should i say does your mom? i have tried to find out something about my dads mother , she was mary catherine miller , aka kate, then she married my grandfather, a walter oliver mulkey. Im told that she died at a very early age of 32, when my father was 8 years of age. i would love to know something about her family and who thay were.
