I have found the reason for two court houses was that Mississippi County was such a large county and roads being what they were in the early years, two court houses made it easier for people to be able to take care of their business. The northern part of MS Co have always gone to Blytheville and the southern part of the county have done their records in Osceola. Joyce McFarland
