Jones, Mississippi County, Arkansas. According to the biography, B.F. Jones was married to Miss Nannie Asburn daughter of Jack Ashburn. Jack Ashburn was one of the pioneers of the county, who came with his father from Kentucky when he was a boy (in the year 1829). He died when Nannie was a child. His wife was Mary Ball. Jones had a brother, Thomas B. (T.B.) Jones who was a prominent merchant of Frenchman's Bayou, Arkansas. Benjamin F. Jones and Nannie Ashburn are my husbands great grandparents.
