Have you read the 1870 and 1880 census where some of your Bishops are shown? When I read it years ago I made some notes about the Bishops because one of the Bishop girls of Dunklin County, Mo., married one of my grandfather's brothers - a Daugherty. In 1870 they are shown on pages 525 and 538. In 1880 they are in Big Lake Twp., HH#110, 136 and 137.
