The Mississippi County site has a pre-1998 Township map at the following URL: http://www.rootsweb.com/~armissi2/township.htm If you click on the image of the map, it will take you to a larger image where some of the towns are mapped out on it. There are undoubtedly some variations in township names/boundaries? when compared with each census year but the map is a great lead. I'd start with what the map shows and then move to the surrounding townships if who you are looking for isn't found in that particular township. The map shows Keiser to be in Monroe Township.
