She was born in Mississippi Co., AR. Her maternal grandfather was John Taylor Jones s/o of Rebecca Jane Bunch Smith Jones w/o N. R. Bud Jones. Rebecca went by the name of Jane in the 1900 census of Mississippi Co. Don't know who the Smith husband was but she had one child named Byrd Smith in the same census.
